Review of Sound of Freedom (2023 Movie):
User Review:
I was thoroughly troubled by what was portrayed in this film, although it’s not graphic or even shocking in its presentation. What is troubling is seeing the expressions of pure apprehension by Caviezel and the other actors. This is real, they aren’t acting here. They are being exposed to the underbelly of an utterly evil system of child bondage beyond imagining. Like it’s shown to us by the relative indifference that any have, we also become desensitized to level of horror these children must endure. The shameless reprobates who feed into this diabolical machination, resulting in unmitigated genocide of our children…
I guess we just don’t get it. I know I’m truly stricken with the heaviness of it all, and yet where is our enthusiasm? Who will stand up for those who cannot defend themselves, the humblest and most innocent ones? I’m beginning to get inspired. I can feel that a change will happen because of this film.
